I will be honest my first experience wasn't the best. Before I completely rant my ass off I'm going to say that I had fun especially once I got my head around a few things. Unfortunately I have issues with people who promote themselves as better than the rest and with that I move on to what I despised about my first experience.

So I show up at our local "Laser Quest" location, and our friends start giving us the run though on how things work and what we should be aware of. Well this one guy comes along and gives my love and I, a once over for our apparel and he O.K.'d her but when it came to me it was as if he just placed his eyes one a dead corpse he found in his closet that he forgot he left there and with attitude to match. I'm sorry but if he ever got hit by a car while walking his dog (if he had one really don't know) I make sure his dog was alright before attending him and just maybe then…

With that out of my system, I want to press how much of a good time I had after that. It was fun playing in the "forest" (the maze) trying to find the local trouble… but I will admit that the main event with bad guy (who happened to be played by the same man mentioned above…) was a little overwhelming. It was a little more than I was prepared for, yet after that there was more small fry running around which I quiet enjoyed talking out.

Like my friends said, these special event are not the best for new comers but they are still fun. We both have agreed to do it again when we are able too.

Save a penny, save 21 Million Dollars!?

The other day I had myself a customer that asked me this question: "Can you save a penny a day for a month?" Of course my response was yes. In return with a grin on his face, "Could you still save a penny a day but every day double the amount you saved the previous day?" Just for those may get the wrong idea, $0.01 first day, $0.02 the second, $0.04 the third and so on. Before I could respond he said, "I bet you can't!"

So after a rather legthy discussion with the man and a calculator he was right. Thankfully I'm not a betting person. I have put few examples of this below, just show you the math of it all. The only thing I was able to say to this was, "WOW".

Example One – Saving a penny a day.

Example Two – Saving a penny a day and doubling the amount to save every day.

Example Three – Saving a penny a day and doubling the amount saved every day on top of what is saved so far.

Hamburger Helper

So cooking, I'll be honest I don't do much of it but I can do it. Not last night but the night before and the one before that I had cooked Hamburger Helper. Ok not the most complicated meals but cooking for two nights in a row, thats almost unheard of!

The first night I ended up doing one that was Rice Style and the second was Chilly Style. Both were good and I'm looking forward to cooking more not just Hamburger Helper!

Welcome to my not so new blog. I’m currently in a transitioning stage of interests as for what I do with my off time. I am currently in the mood to just write and not in anything particular so I thought this would be a good choice.

So in the next couple of days I will start filling this up.
